I bought this as a briefcase January 2017 and am writing this 4+ years later in April 2021. I picked it up because the pictures looked fairly nice, and I was in the market for something inexpensive. I didn't have high hopes for longevity given how cheap it was, but I didn't have the budget for anything nicer. It isn't a miracle bag, but it has far surpassed all expectations. After four years of extremely hard treatment, it still looks mostly fine (see pictures). Some of the leather is getting worn around the edges and on the place where the strap connects to the body of the bag. And a pen exploded on an airplane and leaked ink (visible in lower left corner), which might not have been as visible externally with thicker/nicer leather. But it otherwise looks okay, and probably would clean up well if I bothered to use any leather cleaner or conditioner on it.The size of the bag has also been really useful, because for a shoulder bag, this thing is *massive*. I frequently have the "computer" part of the main compartment stuffed with a Surface book, iPad Pro with magic keyboard, and a large magazine. And in the rest of the main compartment, I have room for plenty of power cords, a number of large books, and a Nintendo Switch (in a bulky case) with a pro controller. The capacity is more like a duffle bag than a briefcase. To be clear, this is still in the price range of two-to-three hundred bucks. It isn't going to be comparable to higher end products that cost 3-4x as much, particularly in terms of the leather quality. But I also would be a little scared to treat bags that expensive as roughly as I've treated this one. About the highest compliment I can pay is that, when this finally needs replacing, I'll likely buy another one.Great bag. Large carry area could use additional dividers to help organize and better store files, etc.The best briefcase....Beautiful, Practical, Large But Not Too Large.
