My family recently discovered that some of our people are celiac/gluten sensitive. One is in the top 7% severity so having gf stuff is critical. I used this to make one of my favorite pies. The dough handled weirdly when I was rolling it out and placing it in the pie tin. And the directions say 1 cup of water and I didn’t even use that much. But once the pies were ready, I was very pleased. I couldn’t tell the difference between this crust and a standard gluten containing crust. I want to try out more gf crust mixes but I would definitely use this one again. Before being gluten-free pie was my favorite thing to make. After two years of being sad and discouraged with pie baking, trying countless from scratch recipes, cup for cup pie crust mix is the winner. I also tested Bob’s red Mill piecrust mix, King Arthur piecrust mix, and cup for cup pie crust mix. My group of test tasters said hands down Cup for cup was the winner. It’s the easiest to work with using saran wrap to roll it and the flakiest crust with no modifications, can’t even tell it’s gluten-free I’m so excited to make pies again!!!!These are my favorite brownies even though I am no longer gluten free. They are easy to make and end up a rich but not overpowering flavor. They somehow last longer tasting fresh if I decide to savor them and not share.Very well made and the pancakes came out great. Is it worth the extra money versus some alternatives, we are still deciding.Great cornbread muffins. (Muffins are easy to portion and store for a single person.) I did swap out olive oil for butter, for health and cost reasons...and it worked! Then I made my own buttermilk (with lemon juice). Happily eating them for supper and breakfast and whenever the mood strikes. ???I have celiac sprue so the gluten free is crucial, the good taste essential for a product hard to find that has it.YUMMy brother is gluten-free and I wanted a home-made pie for him at a family function and this was easy enough to use (I mean, it’s still pie crust ?). Reviews from the fam were great, even from the gluten-eaters! Highly recommend! After finally figuring out that my youngest son has a very sensitivity to gluten and had to figure how to change up our food to keep favorite things he loves. I first discovered Cup 4 Cup brand when I was trying to learn how to make a “flour” I could use in place of regular flour. Came across their pizza crust mix so decided to give it a try. I have used their flour to make my own pizza crust but wanted to give this a try. Easy to mix up my 11 year old son did it himself. It says it makes 2 12in pizza crust. We made 4 personal size pizza crust. They came out really good. Even my oldest liked it. Will buy again for an easy way for my son to make up pizza crust on his own. Cup 4 Cup brand is really good.
