"All that chocolate, it does evoke a certain....mood." I love this passage from the book. What can be better than a book filled with chocolate, a main character, Sarah...looking for love, a touch of mystery, a knight in shining armor...Blake, MORE chocolate, romance, LOVE, MORE CHOCOLATE, and some fire between the main characters? This story had all this and more.I love the characters in this book. They were so likable and devoted to family and friends. Sarah had doubts and fears about becoming involved with love again because of being hurt previously. Blake had feelings for Sarah but didn't want to scare her off or move too fast. Gail Cleare wrote the chemistry between these two so well that I was yearning for them to work out their differences, doubts and fears and get connected. They belonged together. They not only had chocolate cravings but they had them for each other. "She closed her sore, tired eyes and spun into the world of his kiss, the deep, sweet, velvety darkness, with sparks of tingling explosions around the edges."Ms. Cleare has a great way of writing descriptive passages. There was a scene where Sarah was working the bar in the restaurant and she's serving a customer and her thoughts go here...."His beautiful dark eyes smoldered. It was exactly the same look that the Ape Man gave to Jane right before he carried her off via swinging vine to their sleeping nest high in the trees." What a great visual to what Sarah was thinking! This was a great read. It's light, fun, romantic, and made me crave chocolate even more! I enjoyed this book very much! TY, Gail Cleare, for a sweet story that made me happy! It Is worth every chocolate covered 5 stars!
