Fred Gwynne was a brilliant actor who brought “Herman Munster” to iconic life along with many other roles over his 42 year career in Film, Television and Stage Productions, Artist and Author. A one if a kind at 6 foot 6 tall and costumed with shoes and headpiece, 7 foot 2 inches in his most recognizable role as the lovable “Herman”. He branched out in his later years and flourished as an extremely talented painter and illustrator. He wrote and illustrated a substantial body of children's books.
