I honestly expect these boots to last a lifetime. They are extremely well made & the materials are great. They are quite warm. I ordered a 35, but received a 36. Rather than going to the trouble of sending them back, I got some wool inserts for them. They fit okay with those. With that in mind, I think they are pretty much true to size & width. They are pretty heavy & they're a bit stiff, but I think, over time they'll loosen up enough. I may try some of their other shoes/boots at some time, as long as I can get a 35. I wouldn't be able to wear the 36 in non-wool lined footwear. They are expensive, but the workmanship makes them worth it. They are well made, if not better, than original Doc Marten's. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase.
